About Me
Welcome to my blog! My name is Harleen Malli and I am a Toronto native. I grew up in the suburb of Toronto, called Etobicoke, where I garnered an early passion for the environment and preservation. While still in middle school, I use to volunteer at the community creek clean ups with the support of the Toronto City Councillor of my ward. Later, the summer before I started at York University, I joined the Toronto Environmental Alliance as a representative for my ward, where I spoke with community members about issues affecting them in specific when it came to things such as clean transit, carbon emissions and waste production. While attending York University, I worked with the Ontario Road Ecology Group and spent my time volunteering with the Toronto Region and Conservation Authority. My passion for nature still remains. I love to spend my time exploring the outdoors with my two best friends, Archie and Woody. Through this blog, I hope to share my experiences and insights with you. Join me as I take you on an adventure and show you the beauty of nature, and the abundance of nature.
